Another Rose

This project is a reflective tribute to Gulabi Gang, an activist group in northern India, founded by women. In documentary and musical format, the project demonstrates the importance of the group’s mission through a loving correspondence between the project’s creatives and the Gang, and how the notion of “doing justice into our own hands” becomes a fundamental gesture as an individual practice and collective conscience in the face of injustices. “Another Rose” is a song of resistance and transversal union, it is a space of compassion transformed into political and human action.

Born in Porto, in 1993. She began her training as an actress at the Contemporary Academy of Spectacle, in Porto, and graduated from the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema, in Lisbon. Creator, performer, singer, feminist. She develops artistic projects within the scope of its professional structure.
