Film wishes to connect the theatrical experience with cinema. It’s about playing with a performative act that doubles itself in a constant struggle for something uncertain. In Film, we find a lonesome chair and, on it, an equally lonesome individual that observes a screen before him, overpacked with constantly moving images that direct all present and future actions.
Silvestre completed his acting degree in 2016 in Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema (Lisbon). As a professional, he began his path as an actor in 2014 and as a theatre director and performance artist in 2016 with the series “Portraits”. He has now created 4 performance art pieces and directed 4 theatrical ones (“SNOW”, “Murphy, Beckett (ONE MUST GO), “The Woman Who Only Lived Once” and “Hitchcock Blondes”). He is currently studying Contemporary Performance in Manchester School of Theatre.
