EMPOWERBANK

EMPOWERBANK is a performance about the contemporary obsession with movements that promote the idea of inner and singular salvation.

Through theater, dance, performance and live concert, we start from Mindfulness and the experiences of “know yourself” – techniques already absorbed by Western capitalism – to explore the social consequences of these instru- ments of self-knowledge.

On stage, actors, a dancer and a sound artist propose a false, undeclared social experience, which aims to question the act of alienation in the present. What are its effective dangers? What proposals are these that promote ideas such as the strengthening of inner peace regard- less of outside violence?
