This show is a game of objects, an unraveling of stories, a fragmented tangle that weaves our day-to-day. Here we learn freedom, cooking, we accumulate clocks and expand data.

The Anas move between characters: a woman who unfolds to tell how the lives of other women who pass and cross bodies, objects, voices and generations. We go through tasks and questions, through the discarded day-to-day, unveiled by a close and concrete philosophy.

O Tempero is an invocation, a long wait, everything that fits in it and takes place in this kitchen-studio-altar-laboratory.

About Algures

ALGURES is a creation, audience training and programming structure, founded in 2008 with the artistic direction of Susana Cecílio. It unfolds in projects of an interventionist nature, with creations that reflect on contemporary life, using diverse supports and languages, such as narrative theatre, physical theater and the clown.

It is a structure aware of its role and impact on citizenship, so in addition to creating shows that cross repertoires of popular literature with erudite literature, it regularly shows, covering different audiences and less evident contexts. The versatility of narrative theater has allowed its regular creators to represent Portugal and the Portuguese language in international festivals.

As of 2013, Algures asserts itself as a creative entity, guided by an artistic line focused on the word in narrative theatre, spoken word, clown and cultural mediation. It also assumes a greater role in the Portuguese theater scene within the scope of new dramaturgies, both in terms of inviting female writers to create new texts for new creations, as well as in the programming logic itself, privileging shows with
authorial dramaturgy.
