O Estado do Mundo (Show)

O Estado do Mundo (Quando Acordas) will bring to the scene a cause-effect relationship between small gestures and big consequences. Using household items, electronic devices, essential everyday goods for all of us – those who are responsible for climate change -, the show will highlight an idea of ​​paradox: between what we defend on this subject and our incapacity to give up everyday behavior. On stage, only one performer and a range of utensils, a portrait of our lives, where consumption occupies an unavoidable place. We will ask to what extent our small gestures can have a big impact. To what extent can a toaster or dryer be responsible for major natural disasters such as a fire or a sandstorm? To what extent are adding an ice cube to the drink or spreading the bread with butter gestures without consequence? How to stage the immensity of a natural catastrophe through miniatures? How to create a deeply ecological show?
