GAMBLING is a project that combines the cinema and the performing arts, using theater scenography to create a cyberpunk and futuristic aesthetic. Located in Macau as a real setting, the film contemplates the daily fiction of the city and incorporates the labor gestures of workers to engage in a reflection on the future of these bodily movements. At the same time, Agents – fictional characters – collect these gestures and reenact them through dance. The Narrator tells the whole story of those encounters and the reasons that move them to rescue this knowledge.
