Artificiu — Inês Campos

Artificiu explores themes and symbols that characterize the laws of perception in the human mind. Intertwining the languages of dance, cinema, visual theater, magic, and music, in a mutant collage of dialogues, references, and imaginaries that inhabit the body, Inês and Dylan play with their expectations
of time, memory, and beauty in a reality that jumps between the invisible and the tangible, the fiction and the “real”, polyrhythm and unison.

About Inês Campos

Works as a choreographer, performer, music, and visual artist. Inês creates hybrid artistic projects that explore the relationship between the body and its symbolic place based on an imaginary of pragmatic poetry, or magical realism, which juxtaposes the real and the unreal. She will premiere -considerate lillia, a musical performance in collaboration with Teresa Campos, Teatro Municipal do Porto 2022] and tours her solo coexistimos -we coexist [Festival Complicidades 2018] and Artificĭu [Teatro do Bairro Alto 2021]. She collaborates and performes in shows by Sofia Dias and Vitor Roriz, Flora Détraz, Marta Cerqueira, Kalle Nio and Tânia Carvalho and co-founded the collective thistakestime with Filipe Pereira, Matthieu Ehrlacher, Ola Osowski and Helena Martos. She participates in feature films by Catarina Vasconcelos, Cláudia Varejão and Henrique Câmara Pina. She has already sung in albuns and concerts with José Mário Branco, Júlio Pereira, Manel Cruz, Lula Pena, Amélia Muge, Perota Chingo, Daniel Pereira Cristo and co-founded the band Sopa de Pedra for which she composes, sings and is a graphic artist.
