A painting in the process of restoration. Four actors who deal with the timeless problem of loving mourning; they want to understand, feel, integrate. Like the mourners, they lend to fiction the tears of a real sorrow. But how to make a funeral without a body ?, they wonder. Between the will to conserve and the need for reform, which is the most suitable plan?
